Taylor Swift performed her first of six Toronto shows last night as she did ten mini sets, each representing her eras.
The show went for over three hours entertaining the almost 50,000 fans in the stands at the Rogers Centre getting her a three-minute standing ovation.
There were many “Tayl-gate” parties in the area, and she shut down the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto, a major highway in Toronto.
Reports say the local Toronto economy is getting a 300-million-dollar boost with hundreds of thousands made from Taylor Swift Friendship Bracelets.
She has more shows tonight and Saturday, with three more next Thursday to Saturday, November 21st to 23rd in Toronto.
This Swifty-mania is like Beetle-mania that hit Toronto in 1964 at the then Maple Leaf Gardens on Carlton Street.
Will her boyfriend Travis Kelce make an appetence at one of her Toronto shows as he and the Kanas City Chiefs are playing the Buffalo Bills a short jaunt from Toronto.
Or will Taylor make it to Bufalo for Sunday’s Chiefs game? So many questions to be answered.
Stay tuned!
