The 58th Country Music Association awards were handed out last night in Nashville.
It was an awesome show, I was busy flipping between the Toronto Maple Leafs game and the CMA’s.
The hosts from the past few years Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning welcomed new co-host Lainey Wilson and the trio did not disappoint with the humor and skits.
My favourite was when Luke Bryan unveiled his “Luke, Pey, and Lay” shirt for him and his two co-hosts, Peyton and Lainey.
They did a cheers to the late Toby Keith.
Brooks and Dunn with Jelly Roll sang “Believe” that had grown men in the audience in tears.
Upon announcing the final award of the night just before midnight for Entertainer of the Year Jeff Bridges announced Morgan Wallen as Morgan Wailing.
