It was another milestone night for our own Sidney Crosby as he scored his 600th NHL career goal becoming the first Bluenoser to do so!
This happened on home ice with his family in Pittsburgh to witness “Sid the Kid” history.

His parents Tina and Troy and sister Taylor were there along with girlfriend Cathy.
Following the goal Sidney acknowledged the crowd as he received a standing ovation.
The Pittsburgh Penguins center achieved the milestone in a 6-1 loss to the Utah Hockey Club at PPG Paints Arena.
A Sid goal quote: “Yeah, I mean, it feels good,” Crosby said. “Obviously, we’re down in the game, feel like we got some energy off of that. The crowd was into it. It was a good feeling. Obviously, it would have been nice to build off it.”
He becomes just the 21st member of the NHL 600 goal club here in his 20th season at 37 years of age.
Keep filling the net Sid, we’re hometown proud!
