There is a very valuable facebook group called Nova Scotia Off-Road Rescue/Recovery that could be JUST what you need if you ever get stuck somewhere that a tow truck wouldn’t like to go.
I went for a winter camp in a hot tent just before 2025 hit when we came upon a stuck van on an ATV trail. GPS brought this delivery driver down the wrong path…and he just kept going.
When we arrived, he was trying to get unstuck using floor mats, but nothing would work. He had already crossed a small river and I knew it would be a struggle getting a tow truck down there.
So after chatting with the young man, around 25 or so, I told him I may know how to get him out, but I’d have to post him on the internet, and he was ok with that.
Five hours later, he was pulled out by Dave Smith in his Taco. Nice work Dave!!!
I suggest you like the group…you never know where you or someone you know or even a complete stranger, may end up someday.
