Ice Jam is back this week with hockey teams in town to fill local hotels and restaurants.
It’s being held at the HRM 4-Pad in Bedford and the East Hants Sportsplex.
This is the premier hockey tournament designed to give maximum exposure for U 18 Major, U 16 AAA and U 15 Major players here in Nova Scotia and around Atlantic Canada to scouts.
Many players that are scouted in this move on to play in the QMJHL with a few Halifax Mooseheads having been discovered at the tournament.
Check out the schedule HERE.
If you can’t make the games, Justin Belanger and the crew at High Button Sports will be covering the games:

My son Drake has previously officiated two Ice Jam Gold Medal Final games as a referee.

It’s great to see the tournament back once more that’s great for the local economy.
