Stargazers can expect a big show in the night sky this week with a planetary parade that’s happening when six planets gather close to each other in alignment.
The planets participating include Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Neptune, and Saturn forming a giant arc aligning in the evening sky.
Most can be seen with the naked eye; however, you may need a telescope or binoculars to see Neptune and Uranus, which fall between Saturn and Venus in the parade.
There are also phone apps available, such as Stellarium or Sky Tonight, to help locate the planets if you’re having trouble spotting them.
Coming up at the end of February, Mercury will join the fun, replacing Saturn.
