On Hockey Fights Cancer Night with 8,311 fans in the stands Halifax beat Bathurst 2-1 here in Moose Country back on Saturday night.
Braeden MacPhee with the 1st Star with a goal.
It was a special night for Braeden who lost his mother to cancer in 2023, he said it felt like his mom was in the building.

Callum Aucoin of Hammonds Plains and former TASA Duck with his first as a Moosehead and the game winner in the game.

It was Bathurst’s last game in Halifax before moving to Newfoundland next season as the Regiment.
Maddex Marmulak of Middle Sackville with the Titan goal that will go in the record books as the last Acadie-Bathurst Titan goal scored in Moose Country.
The Titan had many battles over the years since 1998.

One of my favourite games of all time to announce was blanking Bathurst 4-0 April 15th, 2003 to win Game 7 at the Halifax Forum in the playoffs.
Next up, Cape Breton here this Thursday for a Battle of Nova Scotia.
See ya there!
