Up to 45 mm of rainfall is in the forecast for Yarmouth, Digby, Annapolis, Kings, and Cumberland counties. Environment Canada says steady rain will begin Monday evening and become heavy at times on Tuesday. With it comes a chance of localized flooding in low lying areas.
Meanwhile, Cumberland County North and the Cobequid Pass are in for at least four hours of freezing rain beginning Tuesday afternoon and possibly intensifying Tuesday night.
