McHappy Day is coming up this Thursday, May 8th!
It’s a one-day fundraiser organized by McDonald’s Canada and its independent franchisees where a portion of proceeds from all food and beverage menu items go to Ronald McDonald House Charities and other local children’s charities.
(At McDonald’s on Portland Street in Dartmouth for McHappy Day with Beau Trenholm, a McDonald’s Manager, who finished a 47-kilometer run going around to local HRM McDonald’s locations collecting donations today for Ronald McDonald House charities and other children’s charities across Canada with Manager Mike LeBlanc.)
The funds raised on McHappy Day go directly towards providing essential support to families staying with Ronald McDonald House across Canada including accommodations, food, mental health and wellness support, and so much more while their child is receiving medical treatment.
By marking your calendars and participating in McHappy Day on May 8, you are actively making a positive impact on families right here in your own community.

Of Note: RMHC Atlantic has expanded its Ronald McDonald House to support more families, the Halifax House just grew from 18 bedrooms to 36 bedrooms for families.
Hot Country 1035 will be broadcasting all day long from McDonalds on Main Street here in Dartmouth from 6am to 6pm, so please drop by and say McHello!
