The Halifax Thunderbirds season is over.
They lost 10-9 in overtime to Saskatchewan Saturday night, and were eliminated in the National Lacrosse League semifinal.
The Thunderbirds had to win to force a third game Sunday, they lost at home the weekend before in the first game of the series.
It was the most successful Thunderbirds season to date, their deepest playoff run since joining the league in 2019.
The Saskatchewan Rush will now play in the NLL final against Buffalo.
