Your Halifax Mooseheads will play a couple of preseason games this August bringing QMJHL action to Upper Tantallon and Truro!
The Herd is set to face-off for the first time in team history at the St. Margaret’s Centre in Upper Tantallon on August 20th against the Cape Breton Eagles.
Halifax returns to Truro’s Rath Eastlink Community Centre for the first time since 2015 on August 23rd again to face the Eagles.
It will be quite a home coming for former TASA Ducks, now Halifax Mooseheads, Quinn Kennedy, Owen Phillips and Callum Aucoin who all grew up playing in the Fountain Rink where the game will be played.

As the Mooseheads Public Address Announcer the St. Margaret’s Centre is home to the TASA Ducks and it will be cool to announce a game there as both our son’s Drake and Trent played and officiated for TASA Minor Hockey.

The usual Pad C preseason home at the Dartmouth 4Pad will not be available to host games during those dates as the ice will not be ready.
Ticket details will be announced later this summer.
The QMJHL Regular Season Schedule will be released in June.
