“DAAAAAAA YANKEES LOSE” went viral last night after the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the New York Yankees 5-2 to take the American League Division Series 3-1 and move on to the American League Championship Series for the first time since 2016.
The phrase was born in a post-game interview between Jays fan favourite Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and baseball legend David “Big Papi” Ortiz.

Toronto awaits the winner of the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners series that concludes Friday night with the 5th and deciding game.
The Jays will host the winner of that matchup beginning the best of 7 ALCS on Sunday and Monday in Toronto at the Skydome.
