A new non-stop international flight is coming to the Halifax airport.
Soon you will be able to fly directly to Brussels, the capital of Belgium, according to a news release.
Airport President Joyce Carter says this is a new milestone for the Halifax Stanfield.
“Air Canada’s continued investment in our market strengthens Halifax’s position as an international gateway and creates new possibilities for business, tourism, and exploring the world,” wrote Carter in the release.
The service will start in June 18, 2026 and run three times a week, with an air time of six hours.
It is Air Canada’s second non-stop international flight out of the airport in addition to their flight to London Heathrow.
