Drivers are seeing a downward shift in the price of diesel in the province on Wednesday.
The Nova Scotia Energy Board invoked the interrupter clause at midnight.
It says this change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price for diesel oil.
Diesel is down about 7 cents to a minimum of 172.6.
The price of gasoline is not affected by this interruption.
The board’s next weekly adjustment takes effect Friday.
