Bruce Rainnie the CEO and President of the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame called me today to share his memories of our legendary Halifax curler Colleen Jones.
Bruce and Colleen worked for 30 plus years at CBC. Have a listen to how she welcomed on his first day on the job in 1995 when he took over from Doug Saunders, her talents for juggling a broadcasting career, curling career and family, and how he got a text from Sidney Crosby last night.
Thanks for sharing Bruce.

At the Canadian Curling Trials for the Italy Olympics last night at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, a moment of silence was held at the 7pm draw for Colleen who we lost yesterday after a battle with cancer at just 65.

Rest easy Colleen and keep smiling that big smile of yours.
