This Saturday, the 62nd annual Christmas Daddies Telethon is back from 11am to 6pm on CTV.
Some of the local talent on the show include: the Sons of Maxwell, Campbell and Johnston, Classified and many more.
Steve Murphy will return to anchor the telethon with his buddy Scrooge.

Since 1964, Christmas Daddies has been a proud Maritime tradition, dedicated to bringing joy to less fortunate children during the holiday season.

The show has raised a total of over $40 million dollars since its very humble beginnings when the very first Telethon in 1964 raised $1,500.

Last year alone, Christmas Daddies provided food, toys and gifts to over 18,000 children across the Maritimes.

It’s the day where many people put up their trees, do their Christmas baking or write their Christmas Cards.

On a personal note, I’ve been volunteering for Christmas Daddies since 1985 during my Sydney radio days and continue this year.

My wife Roxanne is also the Executive Director of the telethon since 1999.
