Officers were called to Churchill Downs Circle on Saturday afternoon for an investigation, but have since left the area.
The RCMP said residents would see a large police presence in a social media post on Saturday at 4:45 p.m.
Mounties were also asking people to avoid the neighbourhood to give officers space to work.
Police also said at the time there was no risk to public safety.
In an update later in the day, the RCMP said officers were no longer in the area.
No further details about the investigation have been released.
