The Halifax Mooseheads beat the Quebec Ramparts 5-4 in overtime with 10,094 fans in the stands on Scouts Day on Sunday afternoon.

With the victory, the Mooseheads earned a spot in the upcoming QMJHL playoffs that’ll begin on the road for the Herd.
Games 1 and 2 against a yet-to-be-determined opponent will be set for Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th before returning to Scotiabank Centre for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday, March 31st and Wednesday, April 1st at 7pm. Playoff packs for Season Ticket Members will go on sale on Friday, March 6th while playoff tickets for the general public will go on sale on Tuesday, March 24th at 11am.
The Mooseheads wore special jerseys from the CHL Jersey Design Contest, designed by Remy Maldre of the Halifax Hawks U11 AA team that are being auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to the President’s Choice Children’s Charity to help feed one million kids each year.
It features a moose biting a hockey stick with the Halifax Town Clock and citadel hill in the background with the quote “The Moose is Loose” on the arms, great job Remy!

Next up: Halifax will host the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada on Thursday night at 7pm as part of the annual billet appreciation night, while the home schedule comes to a close on Friday at 7pm against the Cape Breton Eagles on Fan Appreciation Night with graduating overage players Sam Rousseau and Connor MacPherson to be honoured in the pre-game ceremony
