A Dartmouth homicide has been added to the major crimes reward program.
The province says up to $150,000 will be offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of who was responsible for the murder of 30-year-old Isaac Downey.
It was January 19, 2025, at about 3 a.m., when RCMP responded to a report of gunshots near Lahey Road and Clarence Street.
They found a man and a woman who had been shot were taken to hospital where Downey later died.
Police say people may have information on the case they have not share with police.
“You may have the missing piece that investigators need,” said Scott Armstrong, Attorney General and Minister of Justice. “I urge anyone with details about what happened to Mr. Downey to contact the rewards program and help bring justice and closure for his family.”
If you have information, you are asked to call the major crimes program at 1-888-710-9090.
