Your Halifax Thunderbirds clinched a National Lacrosse League playoff berth back on Saturday night!
The Thunderbirds beat the Ottawa Black Bears 12-6 in the Nest with a sold-out LOUD crowd of 10,595 on Fan Appreciation Night in Nest Nation.
The T-Birds will now play the Vancouver Warriors, starting this Friday, April 24th in British Columbia.
Vancouver’s season record was 13 wins and 5 losses finishing first, while Halifax had 8 wins and 10 defeats finishing 8th to be the last team to make the playoffs.
Congrats to # 24 Clarke Petterson on his 100th National Lacrosse League game played tonight, CP 24 with a goal to and four assists for the celly.
It’s another win and you stay in situation, so Halifax has to win to continue the post season.
