The Memorial Cup is going to be at the Halifax Shopping Centre this coming Saturday, May 9th between 2 and 4pm a part of the Memorial Cup 2026 cross-country tour!
There’s a celebration event on from 12 to 4pm, some of the Halifax Mooseheads players that’ll be there 12-2pm include: Quinn Kennedy, Owen Phillips, Danny Walters and Moose alumni Jake Furlong, along with HAL and MAC the Mooseheads mascots.
Take your shot at Puck Plinko, check out the larger-than-life hockey player and snap a photo with the Memorial Cup and enjoy Memorial Cup-cakes!

I’ve been invited by the mall to be there to sign copies of my Ultimate Hockey Joke Book, Laugh Your Faceoff, with my proceeds going to the Halifax Mooseheads Charitable Foundation.
I’ll also MC the Mem Cup Ceremony at 2pm with the Cup there until 4pm.
So come and see the holy grail of the CHL – the Memorial Cup this Saturday.

The tournament by the way is this May 21st to 31st in Kelowna, BC.
Halifax hosted in 2000 and 2019 and it was fun to announce both.
