The Liberals have a candidate in the riding of Dartmouth South.
Lesley MacKay will now run for the party in the riding after controversy emerged surrounding former candidate Robyn Ingraham.
Ingraham was initially selected to run in the riding and says she was pushed out after boudoir photos of her surfaced shortly after the election was called. However, Leader Iain Rankin says it was her decision to step aside.
MacKay was put forward by the party on the final day to nominate candidates and works with the Liberal caucus office.
The incumbent for the riding is Claudia Chender of the NDP.
