The Canadian Hurricane Centre is keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Henri.
The storm is currently located far out in the Atlantic.
The latest forecast track shows it could impact coastal New England and Eastern Canada, including Nova Scotia, early next week.
The @ECCC_CHC continues to closely monitor the tropical Atlantic. Although too early to determine details at this stage, Henri has the potential to affect the weather in eastern Canada early next week. 🌀 pic.twitter.com/WbsDUg8Bj7

It’s predicted the storm will reach hurricane strength by late Friday.
The hurricane centre says it’s monitoring the region, but adds its still too early to determine the details.
Earlier this week, the centre reported things were heating up in the Atlantic with several storms including Fred and Grace churning south of their response zone.
