A string of hot and humid days in Halifax has forced a heat warning for the region.
The advisory has been issued for all of mainland Nova Scotia due to a warm air mass that is settling across the province on Wednesday.
Environment Canada says temperatures will reach 29 degrees during the day and only dip to 18 overnight for the next two days.
When you factor in the humidity, the temperatures will feel like they’re between 33 and 39.
If you need some relief from the heat you can head to the coast where it’s expected to be cooler.
The hot weather should break on Thursday night.
The national weather forecaster issues heat warnings when very high temperatures and humidity pose a risk of heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
