Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposure to COVID-19 at locations in Central Zone and on two Air Canada flights.
Anyone who worked at or visited the following locations on the specified dates and times should visit covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/ to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether they have symptoms. You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access, or if you have other symptoms that concern you.
Low risk exposures
For the following locations, if you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you are required to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.
-Guy’s Frenchys (12 Murdock MacKay Crt., Lower Sackville) on Aug. 30 between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. It is anticipated anyone exposed to the virus at this location on this date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Sept. 13.
-Mission Thrift Store (31 Temple Terrace, Lower Sackville) on Aug. 30 between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. It is anticipated anyone exposed to the virus at this location on this date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Sept. 13.
-Celtic Corner (69 Alderney Dr., Dartmouth) on Aug. 31 between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. It is anticipated anyone exposed to the virus at this location on this date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Sept. 14.
High risk exposures
Anyone who was on the following flights in the specified rows and seats are required to follow the isolation and testing instructions in this table as a high risk contact.
-Air Canada 674 travelling on Sept. 2 from Calgary (9:55 a.m.) to Halifax (5:40 p.m.). Passengers in rows 1-4, seats C, D and F. It is anticipated anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on these dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Sept. 16.
-Air Canada 618 travelling on Sept. 3 from Toronto (8:55 p.m.) to Halifax (11:56 p.m.). Passengers in rows 13-19, seats A, C and D. It is anticipated anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on this date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Sept. 17.
