The death of a 23-year-old in Truro has been ruled a homicide.
The Truro Police Service said the body was discovered in the early morning hours of September 5.
A release from the Red Cross said half a dozen people were put out of their homes while officers investigated the Robie St. apartment.
Police have not named the victim or identified any suspects.
They said the Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division is being assisted by the Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit and RCMP Forensic Identification Section, and there is no risk to the public.
