If you can’t stand the sight of a Hawaiian pie, we’ve got some bad news.
A new poll from Narrative Research shows 64 per cent of Bluenosers think pineapple does belong on pizza.
The online survey collected responses to the question, “In your view, does pineapple belong on pizza?” from 1,231 Canadians.
Margaret Brigley, CEO of Narrative Research, said 62 per cent answered yes countrywide.
“While opinions are highly consistent across demographics, there are some interesting regional differences.”
If you’re looking to steer clear of pineapple pizza you might think about heading to Quebec, only 45 per cent of Quebecers would take a bite of a slice of Hawaiian.
Our province isn’t the most pineapple-loving, if you’re a true Hawaiian fanatic you should head to B.C.; 81 per cent of people out there said pineapple belongs on their pie.
