Health officials are advising of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in the Halifax area, including several bus routes, and on an Air Canada flight.
Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public.
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at any of the following locations or you were a passenger on the following transit routes for at least 15 minutes on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Bridgewater Auto Repair (415 Dufferin Street, Bridgewater) on September 28 between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12
- Luckett Vineyards (1293 Grand Pre Road, Wolfville) on October 1 between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 15
- Benjamin Bridge (1966 White Rock Road, Wolfville) on October 1 between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 15
- Grand Pre Winery (11611 Evangeline Trail, Grand Pre) on October 1 between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 15.
- The Library Pub and Merchant Wine Tavern (472 Main Street, Wolfville) on October 2 between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 16.
- The Dome (1739 Grafton Street, Halifax) on September 25/26 between 12 p.m. (midnight) on Sept. 25 to Sept. 26 at 3:30 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.
- McDonald’s (645 Windmill Road, Dartmouth) on September 27 and 28 between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon) It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12.
- Buta Ramen (5190 Morris Street, Halifax) on September 29 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 13.
- True North Diner (1658 Bedford Highway, Bedford) on September 29 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 13.
- The Press Gang Restaurant and Oyster Bar (5218 Prince Street, Halifax) on September 30 between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 14.

- Halifax Transit Route #061 (Auburn – North Preston) which ran from North Preston & Cain to Barrington and Duke on September 22 between 7:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.
- Halifax Transit Route #061 (Auburn – North Preston) which ran from Barrington and Duke to North Preston & Cain on September 22 between 5:45 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.
- Halifax Transit Route #061 (Auburn – North Preston) which ran from North Preston & Cain to Barrington and Duke on September 23 between 7:15 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.

- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which ran from Lacewood Terminal to LeMarchant and University on September 29 between 6:15 a.m. and 6:39 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 13
- Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which ran from LeMarchant and University to Lacewood Terminal on September 29 between 7:14 p.m. and 7:50 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 13.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were present on the following flight in the specified rows and seats on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.
• Seven Bays Bouldering (114 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax) on October 1 between 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 15.
• Air Canada 610 travelling on October 2 from Toronto (3:12 p.m.) to Halifax (5:50 p.m.) Passengers in rows 27-33, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 15.
