The Curbside Giveaway Weekend is coming back to Halifax on October 16th and 17th.
Haligonians can place unwanted items at the curb like books, furniture, toys, kitchen items, sports equipment, clothing, and electronics.
They need to be clearly marked with a “free” sign. All unclaimed items must be removed by dusk on Sunday.
You can promote and track the items by posting them to the online Curbside Giveaway map.
The city recommends you pin the location and details to help people search and find specific items by neighbourhood.
This giveaway will happen rain or shine.
