Potential COVID-19 exposure list (October 12th)

Health officials are out with a list of potential COVID-19 exposures in the Halifax area.

Public Health is now sending out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.

  • COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
  • COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:

If you were present at any of the following locations or on the following transit routes on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.

  • Resto Urban Dining (1516 Bedford Highway, Bedford) on October 5 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 19.
  • Rabbit Hole Café (1452 Dresden Row, Halifax) on October 7 between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 21.
  • Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which ran from Lacewood Terminal to LeMarchant & University on October 7 between 1:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 21.
  • Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which ran from LeMarchant & University to Lacewood Terminal on October 7 between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 21.

COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:

If you were present at the following location on the named date and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.

  • Fit4Less (278 Lacewood Drive, Halifax) on:
    • October 5 between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
    • October 7 between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
