Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in the Western Zone and on a WestJet flight.
They’ve also issue a correction to the times on one Halifax Transit route. The details were originally sent out on Monday, October 18th.
Public Health now sends out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at any of the following locations or on the following transit route or for at least 15 minutes on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Meadowview Community Centre (8464 Brooklyn St., Kentville) on October 15 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 29.
- Paddy’s Irish Brewpub (42 Aberdeen St., Kentville) on October 18 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 1.
- Half Acre Cafe (395 Main St., Kentville) on
- October 15 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- October 16 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- October 17 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- October 18 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 1.
- T.A.N. Coffee (431 Main St., Kentville) on
- October 15 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- October 16 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- October 17 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- October 18 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
It’s anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, November 1.
- *CORRECTION to the times*- Halifax Transit Route #007 (Robie) which ran from North Ridge to Novalea on October 16 between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 30.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were present on the following flight in the specified rows and seats on the named date and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.
- WestJet 230 travelling on October 15 from Calgary (10:00 a.m.) to Halifax (5:47 p.m.) Passengers in rows 5-11, seats C, D, E and F. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 29.
