Health officials are warning of potential exposures to COVID-19 in the Halifax area and in the Western Zone.
Public Health sends out COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at the following location on the named date and time for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- The Mercantile Social (1579 Hollis Street, Halifax) on October 17 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 31.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
If you were present at the following on the named date and time for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Yoga Barn (997 NS-341, Centreville) from 6:00 p.m. on October 13 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 27.
