A Bedford woman is hoping seniors at Northwood have a present to open at Christmas.
Nicole Martelle has collected blankets to give to residents of the long-term care home in Halifax for the last few years.
She’s received up to 260 blankets in the past but donations have been sluggish so far this year.

In tweet on Sunday, Martelle indicates only two blankets have been donated so far.
They must be new and from a smoke-free home and can be dropped off at Northwood or Allen Print.
The deadline is December 5.
