Tenille Townes has teamed up with Brandi Carlile for a haunting acoustic duet performance of “Somebody’s Daughter.”
This version of the song, which features a compassionate narrator wondering about the backstory of a homeless woman she sees on the street, is moving. In fact, both Townes and Carlile contribute somber acoustic guitar and empathetic harmonies throughout, giving the tune more depth. Townes originally released “Somebody’s Daughter” as a single in 2018.
