Haligonians should get the shovel out of the closet and gas up the snowblower.
The city is under a snowfall warning and up to 25 cm is expected.
The snow is expected to arrive late in the day on Wednesday and stick around until Thursday.
The snow will start in western Nova Scotia on Wednesday afternoon, and then spread to the rest of the province later in the day.
Strong northeasterly winds will likely produce some blowing snow as temperatures fall during the night.
The biggest snowfall totals are expected over inland areas of Shelburne, Queens, and Lunenburg counties.
