Health officials are warning of potential COVID-19 exposures at several locations in the Halifax area.
Public Health provides COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.
- COVID precaution notifications will be issued if there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public
- COVID exposure notifications will be issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION:
- Split Crow (1855 Granville Street, Halifax) on December 9 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 23.
- Oasis Pub (5661 Spring Garden Road, Halifax) on December 9 between 8:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. (December 10). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 24.
- Kai Brady’s Fancy Dive Bar (5679 Spring Garden Road, Halifax) on December 9 between midnight and 2:00 a.m. (December 10). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 24.
- La Frasca Cibi & Vini (5650 Spring Garden Road, Halifax) on December 11 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 25.
- The Ostrich Club (5529 Young Street, Halifax) on December 11 between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 25.
- Pur & Simple (189 Hector Gate, Dartmouth) on December 12 between 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 26.
- The Loose Cannon (1566 Argyle Street, Halifax) on December 14 between 7:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (December 15). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 28.
- The Economy Shoe Shop (1663 Argyle Street, Halifax) on December 15 between 6:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. (December 16). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 30.
COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION:
- WestJet 248 travelling on December 13 from Toronto (9:03 a.m.) to Halifax (11:56 a.m.). Passengers in rows 13 to 19, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 27.
- Air Canada 624 travelling on December 16 from Toronto (9:11 p.m.) to Halifax (12:13 a.m.) on December 17. Passengers in rows 17 to 23, seats A, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 31.
