Halifax is cancelling bus runs across dozens of trasit routes amid staff shortages, starting Tuesday.
Staff made the announcement in a release just before 5 p.m. Monday.
It said that “based on current staff availability,” bus and ferry service will be diminished over the coming weeks.
It doesn’t say what the cause of the staff shortage is, though a number of bus drivers are in self-isolation after multiple COVID-19 exposures on city busses.
Officials said the changes will also appear on apps using the official Halifax Transit feed.
A full list of cancelled routes is available here.
