Todd Battis starts in the CTV News at 6 Atlantic Anchor chair tonight.
He’s from Riverview, New Brunswick and has traveled the globe covering major events from London, Washington and Rome.
Todd has been with CTV for most of the last two decades after beginning his career with CBC in the early 1990s.
After a short time as host of CBC New Brunswick at 6, he came back to CTV in 2009 as the Atlantic correspondent for CTV National News, based right here in Halifax.

He’s been a big supporter of Christmas Daddies over the years, this is Todd below with my family from 2002, my wife Roxanne works with Todd as the Executive Director of Christmas Daddies.

I’ve known Todd for over twenty years and have had many conversations about his Montreal Canadiens and my Toronto Maple Leafs.
Todd put out this tweet this morning:
It’s only a move of about 10 meters down the hall, but today I make to trip from one office to the next as I start on the 6pm anchor desk @CTVAtlantic . Busy news day, I hope you can join us.

Todd succeeds Steve Murphy who stepped away from the anchor chair November 30th.
Good luck Todd, here’s to many years in the big chair keeping us Maritimers up to date.
