City Hall; Jack Morse
No harmful substances have been found inside suspicious envelopes dropped off at Halifax City Hall earlier this week.
Halifax Regional Police say forensic testing on their contents has wrapped up, but their investigation into the incident continues.
Police received a report of the envelopes’ arrival just before 8 p.m. on Monday. There were no reported injuries or illnesses in relation to the envelopes.
The delivery came after a similar package containing a suspected skin and eye irritant was sent to Conservative MP offices in Bridgewater, Yarmouth, and Barrington.
Anyone with information about the suspicious envelopes is asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers.
