Another record for housing prices in Nova Scotia.
The Canadian Real Estate Association has released new data showing prices have increased by 23 per cent in the past year to nearly $393,000.
It’s $560,000 in the Halifax area.
The dollar value of all home sales in January was $277 million, a new record for the month.
Meantime, the number of new listings was down sharply by 17 per cent from January 2021.
The average house price in Canada hit a record high of $748,450 in January, up 21 per cent in the past year.
