Crews quickly knocked out a fire at a residential property in Upper Tantallon on Friday morning.
A spokesperson with Halifax Fire tells our newsroom crews arrived on the scene at around 7:40 a.m.
The flames were put out before 8:30 a.m. with firefighters remaining on scene to monitor and clear the inside of the property.
RCMP shut down St. Margarets Bay Road White Birch Drive and Hilchey Court to help fire crews.
No word on if there were any injuries or what caused the fire.
