The Atlantic University Sport Basketball Championships start today and promise to be bigger than ever, with four days of action at Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre.
As part of the AUS’ revised championship schedule, the 2022 Subway AUS Basketball Championship will take place March 17 through 20.
This year only, all eight of the conference’s men’s and women’s teams will participate in the tournament, adding an extra day of quarterfinal competition to an already jam-packed weekend of basketball. The championship weekend will now feature 14 games—seven men’s and seven women’s—that will culminate with the crowning of AUS basketball champions for the first time since 2020.
