On the weekend the Halifax Mooseheads had their season come to an end after losing in Game 5 to Bathurst 2-1.
The Titan took the best of 5 series 3 games to 2.
This certainly was a playoff series to remember and one that the young Mooseheads team gained some very valuable experience.
The K.C. Irving Regional Centre was loud with just over 3,000 fans cramming into the arena to cheer on the home team and they were treated to another classic.
Thomas Belgarde scored the game-winning goal with the Titan shorthanded in the third period to give the home team the victory in the fifth-and-deciding game.

The attention now turns to the offseason for the Mooseheads and adding to a talented young squad for the 2022-23 season.
Halifax owns Moncton’s first round pick in July’s QMJHL Entry Draft and is set to make the seventh overall selection.
The CHL Import Draft will also be held in early July meaning the action on the ice is done but it is starting to heat up in the office of General Manager Cam Russell.
NHL Draft eligible prospects Jake Furlong, Jordan Dumais and Markus Vidicek also have a busy summer ahead and will return as key corps players for the Mooseheads franchise going forward.
The future is looking bright here in Moose Country.
See ya next season!
