A man has been charged with attempted murder after a weapons call in Spryfield on Wednesday.
Halifax Regional Police responded to a home on Sylvia Avenue at around 3:30 a.m.
They say two men who knew each other got into a fight.
A 41-year-old was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Forty-three-year-old Lucian Swinamer was arrested at the scene. He also faces a charge of aggravated assault.
Swinamer is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
