The IWK Telethon is back this weekend.
Saturday night from 7 to 9pm there will be a special tribute to the Nova Scotia Health Care workers who have gone above and beyond the last couple of years during the pandemic.
Sunday from 10am to 6pm you can see patient stories.
Todd Battis will anchor and Steve Murphy will be back on Special Assignment.
Both our boys were born at the IWK and had major tune ups as babies, one with hydronephrosis, kidney swelling and the other a Wilms’ tumour, children’s kidney cancer.
They are now both healthy young men thanks to the IWK.
My wife Roxanne is one of the IWK Telethon Producers, so I’ve heard a lot of Zoom calls planning for this weekend. Haha.
