It’s still so cool to me that we can track these great white sharks with the technology that OCEARCH attached to them during their many expeditions up this way.
Just the other day on June 27th, Tancook checked in just off the coast of Martin’s Point in Mahone Bay.
Another white shark named Martha also pinged in that same day, but she is in the Bay of Fundy.
There is really nothing to be afraid of, yes situations happen, but you are more likely to be assaulted by an aggressive seagull going for your fries, or freezing your ankles off in our chilly waters than running into one of these beauties in their natural habitat.
