A $150.000 award is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for Sheila Patricia Madore’s death.
Tomorrow is the second anniversary of her last reported sighting in the Gottingen Street area in Halifax and was first reported missing on October 8th of 2020.
Her body was found in March of 2021 on the grounds of the Findlay Community Centre in Dartmouth and her death was determined to be a homicide.
Brad Johns, Attorney General and Minister of Justice hopes that that adding this case to the awards program will encourage people to come forward with information leading to an arrest and charges.
Anyone with knowledge of Madore’s death is asked to call the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program at 1-888-710-9090. People that call must provide their name and contact information and the call will be recorded.
