Halifax Regional Police say the missing inmate from a Dartmouth jail has been found.
Ryan Taylor Wilband was arrested by RCMP in Greenwood on Tuesday.
Police had asked the public for help earlier in the day to track him down after he escaped custody at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility on Gloria McCluskey Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

The Department of Justice is conducting a full review of the incident.
Police are searching for an inmate who has escaped from a jail in Dartmouth.
Ryan Taylor Wilband was reported missing from the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility on Gloria McCluskey Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
The 43-year-old is in custody on several charges including robbery, theft, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, and breaches of probation.
Wilband is described as a white man standing five feet six inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds.

Wilband is bald and has brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a demon on his right shoulder and on his stomach.
He was last seen running away from the area. Wilband was dressed in a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and was wearing glasses at the time.
Police advise you to call 911 immediately if you see him.
