Some in our city had to find a different way to work this morning.
Today is the first day of temporary changes to many bus routes.
Halifax Transit says three routes have been suspended, three were adjusted and trips have been taken from 32 bus routes.
They cite ongoing staffing challenges as the reason.
The three cancelled routes are the 41-Dartmouth-Dalhousie, the 178 Mount Edward Express and the 179 Cole Harbour Express.
The changes are in effect until late summer.
⚠️Beginning today, Mon., Feb. 27, Halifax Transit will be temporarily suspending service on three bus routes, making schedule adjustments to three routes, and removing trips from 32 routes due to ongoing staffing challenges. More details here: https://t.co/bjVxDqVqKJ pic.twitter.com/W3OOaAX6Hp
