CHASE RICE was full of surprises last week, wasn’t he? There was the “earth-shattering” “Bachelor” promo where Victoria Fuller told Peter Weber that she and Chase used to date. That plays out on tonight’s show.
And then Chase released a surprise album on Friday. It’s called “The Album Part I”, and it includes the song “Lonely If You Are”. He chose that title because the album will tell you everything you need to know about him as an artist.
And then there’s this: There are seven songs on the album and every single one is about a med school student he used to date. Obviously, it’s not Victoria.
He says, quote, “I dated [her] for a year and a half and we broke up and I wrote songs about it. I’m not the first person to do that and I won’t be the last. It’s tough [crap] to go through. It’s not fun, especially when you love somebody.
“But the coolest part about my job is that I get to tell my side of the story.”
